Tested by the external laboratory and rated IP68, which means it currently has the highest ratings for resisting both dust and water. It can endure up to 1 meter underwater for 60 minutes and completely isolated from dust or even if a sandstorm hits.

• PD1000 External Hard Drive is resistant to accidental spills from common liquids, such as soda, beer, coffee, tea, and juice. In the event of a spill, wipe the affected area gently with a wet paper towel, then wipe dry the external hard drive.
